Click on the Start menu and locate the AVG software from the list. After doing that, right-click on AVG and select the “Uninstall” option.

Solution 2: Remove AVG With The Help Of AVG Clear or AVG Remover

Using the AVG Clear

If you want to use the AVG Clear then perform the following. 

At first, download AVG Clear and then run the file. Now a reminder will get open. The prompt tells you that to run this workable file by turning on the Windows system in Safe Mode. Click on the Yes option to continue. You can also press the No option to continue in the normal restart mode. 

After doing this, you will get the Clear window on the screen. Select the product in the given field. To complete this process, click on the Uninstall button. 

That will help you to uninstall AVG Antivirus from your PC. For the changes to take effect you are advised to restart your computer.

Using the AVG Remover 

At first, download the AVG Remover. When you run the Avg Remover at that time it will ask you if you want to read the privacy policy or the agreement of the license. 

After clicking on the AVG Remover it will starts to scan your computer. It will start scanning for the AVG installed products. After scanning is done, the result will be shown on the screen. It will remind you if you really want to uninstall it.

When you accept the process, it will start to delete AVG Antivirus software. It will also start to delete from your system all the leftover folders of AVG. Now, this process will take a few seconds or minutes to complete the task. 

The time consumed to complete the process is totally dependent upon the power and the performance of your PC. When the process is completely done, it will remind you to reboot your computer. 

To verify if the AVG Antivirus folders are removed or not you need to head to the Program Files inside C:\. If you find that the AVG Antivirus folders are not removed, you can remove all of them manually.
